LA Times ranks NFL QBs. Favre at No. 5? Huh?

The Los Angeles Times continues the media's love affair with Brett Favre. The newspaper ranks the NFL's quarterbacks. No. 1 Tom Brady. OK. No. 2 Peyton Manning. OK. No. 3 Tony Romo. OK. No. 4 Drew Brees. We can deal with that, seeing it's just an opinion. No. 5 Brett Favre. This is nuts. Can we please end this love affair the media has with the guy. If you are a head coach, do you really want this guy quarterbacking your team? The guy throws too many picks. There are two, maybe three, great quarterbacks in the league. After that, there are a lot of decent quarterbacks. The better ones in this group are the ones who manage a game better. Like Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning and Matt Hasselbeck. If Brett Favre learned to start managing a game and quit the INTs, he would be at the top of the decent quarterbacks list. Until then, he is overrated. By the way, the pick here is Peyton Manning as the NFL's top QB.
