Behave, fans: NFL annouces new code of conduct

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell isn't just getting tough with players (Pacman Jones), coaches (Bill Belichick) and owners (the Rooney family). Now he is getting tough with fans. According to the Associated Press, here are some of the things that will not be tolerated at NFL games this season:
  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal.
  • Drunkenness and signs of alcohol impairment that result in irresponsible behavior.
  • Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
  • Interference with the progress of the game, including throwing objects onto the field.
  • Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel.
  • Verbal or physical harassment of fans from the opposing team.
