Pro Football Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow was named the Central State Director of Athletics and Student Wellness. Central State is located in Dayton, Ohio. Winslow's son, Kellen, is a member of the Cleveland Browns.
According to the Dayton Business Journal, "Winslow will take over the position beginning in September. Coming off a position as the director of new business development and sponsorship for Disney's Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Winslow will manage and direct the university's athletic programs, staff, fundraising and marketing strategies. Winslow also will create health intervention programs targeted at creating an interest in wellness among the student population."
