Awful Announcing kicks butt with his report on how Fox Sports' Jay Glazer kicked ESPN's butt on the Brett Favre trade to the New York Jets. Gotta love how Glazer did it.
Short version: Glazer sat still in the Orlando Airport, waiting to hear from his source. He couldn't board his scheduled flight to Charlotte for fear that he would be in flight when the Brett Favre deal went down. In the end, after nearly 24 hours in an airport, Glazer, just one guy, scooped ESPN's battalion by nearly an hour.
