Gwen Ifill already broke leg; no good luck wishes needed

PBS's Gwen Ifill, who will be the moderator for the vice presidential debate in St. Louis on Thursday, broke her leg. According to the Associated Press, Ifill fell down the stairs in her Washington, D.C., area home Monday. Ifell said she will be ready for the Joe Biden vs. Sarah Palin debate. In an e-mail to the Associated Press, she wrote: "Another crazy twist in a crazy week."

In an earlier interview with the AP about the VP debate, she said:
"The biggest pressure you have as a journalist ever is to make sure you get an answer to your question. That's what I'm focusing on — how to ask questions that elicit answers instead of spin, or in this case to elicit engagement between the two."
Ifill works for PBS, but her career includes stints at The New York Times, The Washington Post and NBC News. How about we just offere Ifill a simple good luck wish on the debate? Good luck, Gwen.
