Super Bowl rings on sale!!!
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that two Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl rings are on sale on eBay. The person selling them has filed for bankruptcy. The newspaper reports: "A minimum bid of $1,000 is listed for each ring, and there is an unpublished reserve." The 1974-75 ring is for the Steelers' win over the Minnesota Vikings. The 1975-76 ring is for the Steelers' win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Post-Gazette reports: "Once given to the player, coach or team employee, the ring becomes the property of the recipient." A quick check of eBay shows that there are three other Super Bowl rings on sale. They are Denver Broncos, Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys rings.
